Lip Filler

Your lips, hydrated and balanced. Not bigger for the sake of bigger.

Priced by your provider

Every Injctr is independently owned, so your provider sets their own pricing and confirms it with you before anything is injected. New here? Our new client specials are honored at every location.

What lip filler actually does

Hyaluronic acid — a sugar your body already makes — placed in specific spots in the lip to restore volume, correct asymmetry and sharpen the border. It’s fully reversible, which is the part most people don’t realize. If you hate it, it gets dissolved.

Book on a Friday and you are fully settled by the following weekend. That is the timing most Injctr providers recommend so nobody catches the swelling phase.

What happens at your appointment

Design

Your provider looks at your lips at rest and smiling, and talks about ratio — the most natural top-to-bottom is about 1:1.6. You bring reference photos. They tell you what’s realistic.

Numb

Strong topical numbing for 20–30 minutes. The filler itself also contains lidocaine.

Inject

Placed with a cannula or fine needle depending on the area — cannula means far less bruising.

Ice & go

Ice for 10 minutes before you leave. You’ll walk out swollen — that is not your result.

Be honest with yourself

Is this the right treatment for you?

Great if you have

  • Thin or flattening lips
  • Lips that lost volume in your 30s and 40s
  • Uneven or asymmetric lips
  • Vertical lip lines (smoker’s lines)
  • A weak or undefined cupid’s bow
  • Corners of the mouth that turn down

Not the right fit if

  • Anyone with an active cold sore — reschedule and get pre-treated
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Anyone who needs to look normal in under 72 hours — swelling is real

What's included

  • Topical numbing, always included
  • A design consult before a needle comes out
  • Before-and-after photos in the same lighting
  • A two-week follow-up to check symmetry

What to expect, day by day

Day 0
Swollen and possibly a little lumpy. This is normal and it is not your result. Do not judge them today.
Day 1–2
Peak swelling. Ice, sleep propped up, don’t panic.
Day 3–5
Swelling drops sharply. Bruising, if any, starts fading.
Day 14
Fully settled and soft. This is your actual result — and your photo day.
Month 9–12
Gradual softening. Most people top up with a half syringe once a year.

What patients say about this one

“Half syringe was exactly right. My husband still has not figured out what is different, he just keeps saying I look rested. Swelling was real for two days then totally fine.”

“She numbed me for a full thirty minutes and never once made me feel rushed. I have had lips done twice before and this was the only time it did not hurt.”

“I was terrified of looking frozen. Told her that, and she dosed me light on purpose and had me come back at two weeks to add a little. That is the whole reason I trust her now — she did not just max me out on visit one.”

Lip Filler FAQs

Not at a half or full syringe placed properly. Overfilled lips are the result of stacking multiple syringes over time without letting anything dissolve — not one thoughtful treatment. Injctr providers cap first-timers at one syringe on purpose, and honestly most people are happiest at a half.

Days 1 and 2 you will look noticeably overfilled. By day 4 you look good. By day 14 you look like the before-and-afters. Plan around this: do not get lip filler within a week of a wedding, a shoot, or a big event.

Lips are the most sensitive area we treat, so numbing does not get cut short — 20–30 minutes of strong topical, plus lidocaine in the product itself. Most people rate it a 3 or 4 out of 10, and it is over in 15 minutes.

Yes, completely. Hyaluronidase dissolves HA filler in about 20 minutes and you are back to baseline in a day or two. This is the single biggest reason to choose HA filler over anything permanent.

Lipstick and kissing: 24 hours. Straws: 24 hours. Working out: 24 hours. Flying: give it 3 days if you can, cabin pressure worsens swelling.

Half a syringe for most first-timers. A full syringe if your lips are naturally very thin or you have lost real volume. Anyone recommending two syringes on visit one is selling, not assessing.
